I myself, am against mixed breed dogs. It destroys too many blood lines and people are so anxious to "create the next big breed". Cockapoo, xyxapoo, etc. Its wrong to destroy a good bloodline. I understand that many top breeds were created by crossing others.. ie: Fox terrier, etc. But I prefer my full blooded [...]

To licensed dog breeders: Do you believe that only purebred dogs are "good" dogs?

While trying to educate myself about California Assemblly Bill 1634, I read alot from organized clubs. They seem to infer that only licensed breeders should be aloud to pick which dogs are allowed to be bred. Are we to see the end of mixed breed dogs?

If you take 2 purebred dogs of the same breed and breed them to get a quality animal, why should you expect?
